In August 2009, The Boeing Company awarded a long-term contract for the supply of 777 stabilizer trim actuator ballscrews to Umbra Cuscinetti S.p.A. located in Umbria -- Foligno, Italy.

 

With this additional contract award, Umbra Cuscinetti S.p.A. became the sole direct supplier to Boeing for all flap actuator and stabilizer trim actuator ballscrews used on Boeing 737, 747, 767, and 777 commercial airplane models.
